Being called into court is a real hassle; let’s talk about it! Whether it’s an online court date or in person, being called into court is a commitment that far extends the one hour for which you may be on the docket. The time it takes to consult, review documents, and print, redact, and organize said documents must be taken into consideration. I must also clear my entire schedule for the day, as the court system is unreliable, at best. Full transparency: I don’t want to go to court (and to be honest, I don’t think you really want me there, either), but if you truly need me there…there’s a price for that!
